The Challenge
The Wela Queueing System addresses the problem of inefficient and disorganized queuing in schools, where managing student and staff queues can lead to delays, confusion, and frustration. Traditional systems often lack customization to meet the specific needs of educational institutions, resulting in inefficiencies.
This system solves these issues by providing a tailored, organized, and streamlined approach to queue management, improving the overall flow and experience for both students and staff.
Solution
Wela Queueing System offers customizable features tailored to educational environments, including efficient queue management, real-time monitoring, and seamless integration with the Wela School System. These features ensure smooth and organized queuing, enhancing the overall experience for students and staff.

There are two view types and two user types for the Queueing System: Display (TV) and Kiosk; Teller and Admin.
Display
Shows real-time queue updates and notifications.
Kiosk
Allows users to check in and view their queue status directly.
Users can choose between the Regular Lane and the Priority Lane
Users will be asked to confirm their information before proceeding.
If users choose the Priority Lane, a notice message will appear.
Users will fill in the necessary information and select which office to queue.
After confirming, their ticket number will be then displayed.

Teller
Manages and processes queue entries for students and staff.

Tellers can Recall a ticket if they need to reopen a closed ticket.
Tellers can also view and access their queue history.
Tellers can transfer a ticket to another Office or Window
Tellers can also Revoke a ticket if they have violated some certain rules.
Admin
Oversees the entire queueing system, with access to all settings and reports.
Admin's Home displays daily summaries and shortcuts.
Admins can setup the queueing system by creating Offices that were specified with Windows numbers.
They are also able to Reset the queue.
Admins can setup the queueing system. They can modify logos, colors and more.
Admins can manage their users. They can add Tellers and assign Offices and Windows
Admins can also sync data from any Wela Portal.
Results
The implementation of the Wela Queueing System has led to improved efficiency and organization in schools using the system. Users have reported reduced wait times and smoother queue management, with positive feedback on the system's customization and ease of use. The system has successfully enhanced the overall flow of daily operations for both students and staff.
